Mid-Autumn Festival is definitely one of the most anticipated festivals in Chinese calendar! It symbolizes full moon, reunion and of course, good food! Catalpa Garden at Hotel Royal Macau has prepared a host of mouth-watering Shanghainese delicacies for you and your beloved to celebrate this beautiful festival. A total of five menus are available for groups of four to twelve persons to enjoy during September 3 to 14, 2019. The “Mid-Autumn Festival Menu” is kicked off with four renowned appetizing dishes in Shanghai, including Marinated Chicken with Huadiao Wine, Smoked Fish, Spareribs in Sweet Vinegar Sauce and Jelly Fish Head Tossed with Scallion Oil. It is then followed by various Shanghai signature dishes such as Chicken and Wonton Soup in Casserole, Minced Pork and Pine Nut Crispy Rice Cone and Sliced Jinhua Ham Steamed in Honey Sauce, etc. The menu is suitable for six to twelve people at only MOP 280 per person.
Besides, the chefs of Catalpa Garden have also prepared four different festive menus tailor-made for groups of different size. The Chefs handpicked the freshest produce and curated a host of premium dishes including the nurturing Sliced Abalone and Jinhua Ham in Chicken Soup, the traditional Braised Pork Knuckle in Brown Sauce and the delectable Deep Fried Sweet and Sour Mandarin Fish with Pine Nut, as well as the not-to-be-missed, festive dessert Rice Ball Dumplings Stuffed with Mashed Black Sesame and Mashed Red Bean in Sweet Rice Wine Soup.
The menu for four people is priced at MOP 1,480, six people MOP 2,350, eight people MOP 2,880 and ten people MOP 3,680. All prices are subject to 10% service charge. Each menu includes a free fruit platter. For reservations or enquiries, please call (853) 2855 2222 ext 189.
