Mother’s Day A-La-Carte Specials at FADO

On this special occasion, you may want your mum to take a break from all the chores and enjoy an exotic feast.  At the reputable Portuguese restaurant FADO, our chefs have lined up 5 heart-warming dishes to pay tribute to all mothers. 

The gastronomic journey starts with a refreshing appetizer Tepid Cod Mousse in Double Texture with Raw Tomato (MOP 120) for the foodies who look for pleasant surprises to their taste-buds, or Octopus Rice with Iberico, Banana and Chestnuts (MOP 160) for the ones which is a perfect choice for the ones who like seafood and prefer warm and comfort food. For the main course, FADO has prepared the healthy, aromatic Stuffed Free Range Chicken Breast with Turnip Top´s Mousse (MOP 160) and the mouth-watering Boar Cheek from Alentejo with Mushroom Bread Stew and Red Peppers Comfit (MOP 220) which is a reminiscence of the typical flavours of the southern region of Portugal. End the feast with a sweet note of Caramelized Apple, Cheese Pudding, Honey and Hazelnut Crumble (MOP 90) which is topped with strawberries, dragon fruits and many other fresh fruits. It is healthy, delectable and definitely unforgettable!

Treat Mother to a selection of the finest Shanghainese cuisine at the well-acclaimed Catalpa Garden.  This Mother Day, the restaurant has prepared an assortment of carefully curated menu to celebrate the empress of the family.  Dry Braised Prawn with Brown Sauce, Braised Superior Sea Cucumber with Shrimp Roe and Seasonal Vegetable, Steamed Black Glutinous Rice Stuffed with Mashed Red Bean – these are just a small sampling of the plethora of offerings of the menus priced at MOP 1,650^# for four people, MOP 2,600^# for six people, MOP 3,388^# for 8 people and MOP 6,500^# for ten people.
